Comment: When it came time to wean this calf, he was so growthy, so thick made and such a goodlooking guy that I could not bring myself to just move him on. His dame is a commercial Ultrablack cow. An Ultrablack is a Brangus / Angus composite. This particular cow is ¾ Angus and ¼ Brangus. When this cow was bred to our LimFlex bull TMCK Enigma 513E ET the result was extreme heterosis. Enigma himself is 51% Angus, so though 627 looks somewhat Brangus, but is mostly Angus (63%) with about 10 % Brangus and the balance being Limousin. He has been developed exactly as the rest of our bulls and is fertility tested and vaccinated with our normal protocol. He is ready to work.
