Our mission is to produce top quality Limousin and LimFlex cattle and offer our customers exceptional genetics with eye appeal that will excel in the pasture or show ring.
All cattle sold off our farm come with the standard North American Limousin Foundation guarantee.
Our cattle are culled very hard for docility traits such as flightiness or aggressiveness.
We choose herd bulls that are eye appealing and that fit our phenotype with strong EPD’s. We search far and wide when we are choosing a new herd bull. The main traits for our selection are growth, performance and maternal traits paired with well above average for carcass data. You can check out our current herd sires on our Herd Sire page. Each Limousin / LimFlex has a link to their registration and performance records on the North American Limousin Foundation (nalf.org) website.
We develop our bulls on pasture with a controlled amount of feed. They are vaccinated, wormed and fertility tested and ready for work when purchased.
Brehm Farms demands that our females milk and raise a good calf.
We are happy to show students all of the heifer calves we have. We offer them at an affordable price. We do accept scramble certificates. The heifer of their choice can be picked up at weaning. We enjoy staying involved with those students and offer support in any way we can.
Gene and I are passionate about our cattle program. We care about all aspects of producing the best possible product and strive to be the best we can be. More importantly, we want you to be successful.
